Rita M Wilczynski Kaiser

Rita M. Kaiser, age 89 of Holland died Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born in Toledo, Ohio on April 22, 1929 to Vincent and Florence (Szymanowski) Wilczynski. She was a 1947 graduate of Holland High School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. On September 17, 1949, Rita married her high school sweetheart, Donald Kaiser and together they raised a family for 65 years before Donald’s death on August 9, 2014. Rita was employed by Libbey -Owens Ford for 30 years. She and her husband travelled extensively and enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Anselmo Marquez) Kaiser; grandchildren, Justin (Amanda), Matthew, Stephen, Jackson and Emerson Kaiser; great granddaughter, Jade; brother, Vincent Wilczyski; sister, Dorothy Mae Colby. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Florence; sons, Douglas and Donald “Butch” Kaiser; brothers, Ollie and Melvin Wilczynski as well as her sister, Geraldine Barret. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43615.
