Rita Joan Heidet

Rita J. Heidet, age 74, of Toledo passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in her home. She was born March 6, 1936 in Toledo to Roy and Pauline Coleman Marlow. Rita was employed by Toledo Scale and the former UAW Manpower. She was a very independent, creative and strong willed person, who was passionate about politics. Rita kept up on current events, and was a loyal member of the Democratic Party. Rita is survived by her children, Mark Donna Heidet, Jodi Steve Brady McGovern and Matt Carol Heidet; grandchildren, Jaclyn Kerekes, Ashley Schrickel, Michael John Wayne Heidet, Steve Squire, Brian McGovern and Ashley McGovern, Kim, Brian and Angela; great grandchildren, Raegan McGovern, Steven Jr, Naveah and Willie Squire. In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Charles Heidet; son, Mike Heidet and brother, Ronald Marlow. Family and friends may visit Friday, January 28, 2011 from 3:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.
