Rissa Low Lorensen

Rissa Lorensen, age 83, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in North Venice, Florida. She was born on January 6, 1941 in Rocky Top, Tennessee and was the daughter of Horace and Marlena (Hatmaker) Hickman. Rissa was a member of the Bible Methodist Church in Port Clinton and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Rissa is survived by her sons, James Muirhead, John (Karen) Muirhead and Thomas (Patricia) Muirhead; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Rob (Rosanne) Hickman, Steve (Kathy) Hickman and Joann Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lorensen; her parents; daughter, Carrie Brisner and granddaughter, Jennifer Muirhead.

Visitation will be held at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11 am with Pastor Deron Fourman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton
