Ricky L. Galford

Ricky L. Galford, 53, of Fremont, OH, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 7, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 27, 1965, in Port Clinton, OH, to Ronnie and Judy (Jackson) Galford. He graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1983. Ricky was currently working as a job foreman at Willis & Sons, Inc. in Fremont. He previously worked for Uniliance, Inc. for 35+ years and as the Ottawa County Highway Supervisor for two years. Ricky won over 60 bench press competitions. He also enjoyed going to auctions, collecting antiques and working on cars, especially corvettes. Ricky is survived by his son, Zachary Galford, sister, Vicky Wears, and niece, Ashleigh (Keith) Udischas. His parents preceded him in death. Visitation for Ricky will be Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Ricky may be given in care of the family.
