Richard N. Witt, Jr.

Richard N. Witt, age 85, of Williston, Ohio, died Monday, March 27, 2017. He was born in Martin, Ohio, December 15, 1931, to Richard and Cora Witt. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Alice (Komives) Witt, sons, Mark (Lucy) Witt and Keith (Leslie) Witt, grandson, Cody (Sarah) Witt, and his furry companion, Eddie. Richard is survived by his siblings, Ervin Witt, Carolyn Starnes, Joanne Pettit, Betty Roberts, Ronald (Sharon) Witt, Priscilla Lehmann and Barbara Witt, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cora Witt and siblings, Karl Witt, Barbara A. Witt, Anna Lane, Mildred Smith, Alvin Witt, Wilbur Witt and Kathleen Baer. Richard graduated from Elmore High School in 1949 and worked for L.O.F. Glass Co. for 34 years. He enjoyed many years of boating, camping and traveling. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Memorials for Richard may be given to Allen-Clay Joint Fire Dist. #34, P.O.
