Richard David Warnke

Richard "Dick" Warnke passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Story Point in Waterville, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 4, 1937, to Harold and Gladys (Aubrey) Warnke He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955 and went on to marry the love of his life Juanita Sargent on June 21, 1958. They were married for 62 years before she preceded him in death in 2020.

He established Colonial Sign and Display with his business partner and retired in 2001 Dick enjoyed bowling, golf and going on cruises He loved playing Blackjack and was quite good at it as well as Bingo and Euchre. Dick was fun, loving and very witty as the staff at Story Point can attest to.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children; Debbi (Ron) Westfall, Marie (Tony) Corwin-Galloro, Paul (Linda) Warnke and Chris Hehl; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with two more arriving in the spring. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nita, son Bruce, grandson Christopher, brother Robert and sister Virginia.

To honor Dick's wishes there will be no service or visitation. The family thanks the staff of Story Point and Elara Caring Hospice for their care and support.
