Richard L. Valentine

Richard Lee Valentine, 63, of Toledo, died Saturday evening, January 23, 2016, at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon. He was born August 24, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lee E. Valentine and Helen M. Helms. Richard had worked in a machine shop and his favorite pastime was fishing. He is survived by his mother, Helen Helms of Napoleon, Ohio, and siblings: sisters, Barbara Prater of San Antonio, TX, Robin Valentine of Elkart, Indiana, Joyce Parks of Walbridge; brothers: James Valentine of Marion, David Valentine of Napoleon, Jerry Valentine of Upper Sandusky, and Steven Valentine of Columbus; as well as his step brother, Wayne Helms of Napoleon. His father and brother, William Valentine, preceded him in death. There will be no services for Richard. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430, has assisted the family with arrangements.
