Richard C. Stucky, 96, Of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. He was born February 17, 1911 in Paulding County, the son of Edward and Clo Rickner Stucky. Richard attended Bowling Green State University, where he earned his Masters Degree. On June 11, 1934 he married Olive E. Sprow in Marion, OH and she preceded him in death on March 07, 2007. Richard was a science teacher for the Port Clinton Schools for 36 years retiring in 1969. He attended Faith United Methodist Church, Port Clinton, OH. Richard was an avid carpenter and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Juana C. Smith of Port Clinton, OH, Judith K. Steven Simmons of Beavercreek, OH and Susanne C. Rodney Morris of Kokomo, IN; 10 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 8 Step Grand-Children and 8 Step Great-Grandchildren and Brother: Stanley Stucky of Port Clinton, OH. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers: John Orville, Clayton, Joseph, Henry K. and Rolland V. Stucky, infant sister: Mardell Stucky. Visitation will be 10:00AM to 12:00PM, Friday, January 25, 2008 at Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, in the funeral home, following visitation. Interment will be in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, OH. Memorial contributions in Richards memory can be made to Stein Hospice, Riverview Healthcare Campus or Faith United Methodist Church.
