Richard "Rich" Skoski

Richard “Rich” Skoski, age 84, of Perrysburg OH, passed away on July 18, 2025, in the presence of his children and grandchildren.

Rich was born August 31, 1940, to John and Mary (Sak) Skoski in Detroit MI. After graduating from Cody High School in 1958, Rich went on to study business and accounting at the University of Michigan. Rich was so proud of his alma mater and remained an avid Michigan fan throughout his lifetime.

After graduating in 1962, Rich met the love of his life, Connie Stetz, in the choir at St Peter and Paul parish in Warrendale. While raising their family in Frankenmuth MI and later West Bloomfield MI, Rich was employed by the Campbell’s Corporation as controller and financial officer for over 25 years. Once he retired, Rich enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and served as treasurer of his homeowner’s association for well over a decade.

Rich will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit, his sharp wit and intellect and his amazing tenor singing voice.

Rich was preceded in death by his wife Constance, his parents, and his beloved sisters Patricia Cepko and Reggie Piasecki. He is survived by sons Joseph (Lisel Virkler) of Pittsburgh PA and John (Patrick Enck) of Toledo OH; daughter Claire Roudebush (Ryan) of Zionsville IN; grandchildren Olivia and Austin Lampkin, Grace Roudebush and Jack Roudebush.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio. There will be a vigil service at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30am, with an hour of visitation prior, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Rich’s honor to Catholic Charities USA.
