Richard A. Seese

Richard A. Seese, age 77 of Toledo passed away Monday December 4, 2017 in Toledo Hospital. He was born March 29, 1940 in Maryland. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wooster College, Wooster, Ohio and his Masters of Arts degree in economics from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He began his career in education teaching economics at John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio then spent 20 years at the University of Toledo and Owens Community College teaching mathematics, retiring in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Lynne Seese; and brother Robert Seese. Dick is survived by his wife Lorry Cology; sons Timothy (Araceli Marrufo) Seese and Daniel (Anne Marie) Seese; and grandchildren Theodore, Elisabeth, Rebekah and Benjamin. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) Thursday from 4-8 PM where funeral services will be held Friday at 12 Noon.
