Ricky Ryland, 61, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at his home. He was born in Port Clinton, Ohio, on September 10, 1951, to Howard Sam and Dolores Neatfeld Ryland. Ricky had attended Riverview Industries Sheltered Workshop for several years. He had a busy and happy life. He enjoyed collecting things, listening to books on tape and music. He was a fan of old scary movies, Abbott & Costello, and The Three Stooges. Ricky attended the Bible Methodist Church in Port Clinton, where he enjoyed the singing and praying. His favorite hymn was You Are My Lord. Survivors include his aunt and caretaker, Iris Brandy Pappas, cousin and caretaker, Rebecca Case, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 165 E Water St, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will be conducted by Reverend Deron Fourman at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church, 150 Maple St., Port Clinton, OH 43452; or Hospice of Memorial Hospital, 430 S. Main St., Clyde, OH 43410.
