Richard E. Rhodes

Richard E. “Dick” Rhodes age 92 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center.  He was born in Champaign County, OH on April 4, 1929, to Alpha and Flossie (Shaffer) Rhodes.

Dick graduated from Westville High School in 1947.  He was a proud combat veteran during the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army. Dick was an avid IndyCar, NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Surviving are his sons, Doug (Suzi), Bryce (Linda) and Craig (Holly) Rhodes; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way.  Also surviving is his sister, Lois (Roger) Knight, aunt, Helen Rader and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Allora and brothers, Don, and Lowell Rhodes.
