Richard H Powell

Richard H. (Dick) Powell passed away Sunday, February 19th, with his loving family at his side. Dick was born to H. Eugene and Mary Edith Powell on April 11th, 1939 in Sturgis, Michigan. He graduated from Maumee High School in 1957 and then from the University of Toledo, having received a Bachelors Degree in Business. Dick and his wife, Sue (Morrison) Powell, met in grade school and were married in August of 1959. He was employed as a Statistician at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. and many years later delivered prescriptions for a pharmacy, his favorite job. He enjoyed playing cards, going to garage sales, spending time with his family and pets, and watching the Detroit Tigers. He is survived by his wife, Sue, and their four children; sons, Mike, David, (Heidi) and Stephen Beaver (Lori) Powell and daughter, Jeanne (Mike) Dotson; four grandchildren, Zack and Kaili Powell and Shannon and Victoria Dotson; great-granddaughter, Olivia Perez; brother, Daryl Powell; sister, Kay Klement and many nieces and nephews.
