Richard A. Polker

Richard Dick A. Polker, age 74, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Wednesday , February 9, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born March 15, 1936 in Deshler, Ohio to Harry and Pauline Helmke Polker. Dick was a driver for Pepsi and also worked as a carpenter. He was a firefighter for Whitehouse, and enjoyed golfing, karaoke and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Dick is survived by his children, Jeannie Lorrin Allman, Timothy Carol Polker and Jennie Roy Drummond; grandchildren, Jeremy Ruffner, Heather Ruffner, Amanda Nate Foltz, Lyndsey Drummond fianc Jeremy Richardson, Timothy Polker, Jr. and Amber Derek McKee; great grandchildren, Vinessa, Braxton, Derek and Emma; brother, Raymond Polker; sisters, Leona and Patricia, several nieces and nephews and millions of friends. Family and friends may visit Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH.
