Richard “Richie” Piasecki “A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, it broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best.” The loving and kind-hearted Richard Piasecki, 76 of Liberty Center, Oh Passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born August 3, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Frank and Frances (Ryan) Piasecki and he married the love of his life Bonnie McFarlin on May 4, 1963. His life was full of love and labor, as he worked as an independent brick mason for over 50 years; donating many hours to homes built for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Richie lived a full life and always succeeded in his many hobbies. He will forever be remembered for his multiple perfect scores in archery, holes-in-one in golf, and his many 300 bowling games. In his lifetime he enjoyed coaching little league baseball, golfing, hunting, fishing, watching Ohio State football and the Detroit Tiger games. Richie spent most of his days at White Pines Golf Course where he had many devoted and loving friends. He will always be remembered as a devoted and loving husband who never left Bonnie’s side. Richie was the best husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His outgoing, charismatic personality would light up a room. He will be missed by all. Richie is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Piasecki: children, Kristin (Jeffrey) Lewis and Cory (Linda) Piasecki; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Dan) Otanicar, Halie Lewis and Paige (Cory) Piasecki; siblings, Jim (Lynette) Piasecki, Joanne (Thomas) Reichert, Ronald (Marge) Piasecki and Danny (Debbie) Piasecki; sister-in-law, Rosie Piasecki and his best buddy, Bill Duvall. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Piasecki. Richie leaves a legacy of warm smiles, genuine kindness, and hearts that over-flow with love. As Richie requested, his services will be Private. Memorial contributions may be made in Richie’s name to “Make-a-Wish Foundation at 215 N. St. Clair St., Toledo, Oh 43604.
