Richard Henry Perino

Richard H. Rick Perino age 52 of Waterville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 30, 2017 in his home. Rick was born in Dearborn, MI on July 4, 1965 to Richard and Donna (Charboneau) Perino. He earned his Associates Degree in Forest Technology from Hocking Technical College and his Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Toledo. Rick was employed at UPS for 31 years. He began his career as a sorter, became a package car driver, and later a feeder driver. Rick had over 22 years of safe driving. Rick was an avid Michigan and Detroit sports fan. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, hiking, fishing, downhill skiing, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother and friend to many. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rick was so proud of his 3 sons and wife. Those who met Rick had a friend for life. He will be remembered as a one-of-kind, loving guy. Surviving is his loving wife of 24 years, Bridget (McKimmy) Perino; sons, Jacob, Joel and Justin Perino; parents, Richard and Donna Perino; grandmother, Mary Charboneau; brothers, Randy (Laura) and Ryan (Jude) Perino; father in-law, Richard A. (Kathy) McKimmy and step father in-law, Hal Sarmento.. Also surviving are many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Frances Perino, Henry Thomas Charboneau and mother in-law, Marian Sarmento. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 PM with a scripture service beginning at 8:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Campaign Fund at St. Josephs Church.
