RICHARD K. OHRT (Insert Photo) Richard K. Ohrt, 73 of Lake Township died July 24, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Northwood on April 15, 1941 to Henry (Hattie Eckert) Ohrt. He married Linda A. Zillinger on September 25, 1965 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. He was first employed with the Burndy Corporation and later as a tool and die maker as well as a journeyman with Hammill Manufacturing. He served as a veteran of the National Guard. He was an avid woodworker and woodcraftsman, an indy car, and nascar fan, as well as a go-cart racer. He is survived by his wife: Linda, A. Ohrt, children: Cathy J. DeKnight, Kevin (Tammy) Ohrt, Grandchildren Keller, Kamden, Mikayla, Christian, and Natalie, along with his two dachshunds: Hollie and Mitzie. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) on Sunday from 2-8 PM. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
