Richard Gilbert Ohrstrom II, 74, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Saturday, December 24, 2017, at his residence. Richard was born on October 29, 1943 in Lorain, OH, the son of Richard Gilbert and Ida Ohrstrom. He was a graduate of the Architectural School, Ohio University. Richard worked on government contracts in Italy, Saudi Arabia and Israel. He was a construction manager in New York City, Riker’s Island and JFK airport. Richard was an avid wood worker. Those left to cherish his memory are: Brother: Tim (Barbara Ann) Ohrstrom. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 4-7PM, Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
