Richard Papa Nicholls

Richard L. “Papa” “Walk and Talk Papa” Nicholls, age 72 of Holland, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on August 6, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Fran Nicholls. Richard was a fabricator for over 40 years, retiring from Apex Metal Fabricating. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved being outside. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren playing video games. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Dawn and brother, Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Connie Nicholls, children, Lora (Shawn) Wood, Wendy (Jeff) Fuller, Amy (Carl) Streicher, Brian Tatkowski, Aaron Tatkowski, Stacie (James) Sliwinski, 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Tom (Donna) Nicholls, Pat (Patty) Nicholls, Pennie (Joe) Miller and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 11:00 am until time of Sharing of Memories at 12:00 noon. At Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio.
