Richard Charles Montrie

Richard Charles Montrie, age 80, of Maumee, Ohio died on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital.  He was born on October 30, 1934 in Kentucky to Ivan and Marie Montrie. Richard was employed at Libbey Ownes Ford in Rossford, Ohio and served on their fire brigade. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the city of Maumee many years ago.  After retirement Richard was a shuttle driver for the Ed Schmidt dealerships.  He was a Past Master for Northern Light Masonic Lodge #40 and enjoyed camping and fishing. Richard is survived by his children, Marie C. Montrie, Diane (Jeff) Lair, William (Gail) Montrie and Roberta Montrie; granddaughter, Kate Montrie and his grandchildren from Indiana.  Also surviving are his nephew, Richard Timbers and sisters, Patricia Timbers and Ivana Hall.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana and his parents.
