Richard S. Lowry

Richard S. Lowry, 93, of Perrysburg, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. He was born June 26, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Henry F. and Florence (LaBounty) Lowry. Richard was a beloved member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gun collecting, being a member of the Maumee Valley Gun Collectors, and watching NASCAR Races. He was also a member of the Masonic Phoenix Lodge, as well as the American Legion Post in Perrysburg. Lastly, Richard was a life time member of the Adams Conservation Club. Left to cherish Ricard’s memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Joann (Evans) Lowry; children, Steven (Denise) Lowry and Sue Machaterre; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lowry; and sister-in-law, Marie Snyder. Friends will be received on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133), where a Masonic Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Cemetery.
