Richard E. Little

Richard Little, age 87, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born in Detroit, MI on March 4, 1921 to Charles O. and Gertrude Pauken Little. Dick was employed as a Personnel Manager at the former Peters Stamping Company for 22 years until his retirement. He was a Navy veteran in WWII. Dick enjoyed woodworking and spending quality time with his family. He was a member of St. Rose Church in Perrysburg and was a Boy Scout Master when his children were young. Dick possessed a life long devotion to our Savior Jesus Christ, and was a devout Catholic. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Margaret Peg Little; children, Melynda Little, Keith Mia Little, Brian Little and Michael Jean Spies. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashleigh, Ariel, Austin and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Asher and Griffin. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald J. Little and a sister, Virginia Baz. Family and friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 4-8 PM, with the Rosary being recited 7 PM. Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
