Richard J. Honisko

Richard J. Rick Honisko age 59 of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 26, 2010 in his home. Rick was born in Toledo on October 29, 1950 to James and Betty Hahn Honisko. He was employed with Paragon Service and Supply, Inc in Lima, OH. Rick was a sports enthusiast and an avid Detroit Tigers and OSU fan. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and coaching his kids in grade school. Rick was a member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Toledo. He will be remembered for being easy going, his wonderful sense of humor and his love for his granddaughters. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Alice Crossen Honisko; daughters, Andrea James Born, Marcia Honisko; son, Eric Honisko; granddaughters, Adeline Addie and Elise who they called Papa mother, Betty Honisko; sister, Sandra Bob Young; aunt, Verlyn Duncan; uncle, Leon Heinl; brothers in-law, Thomas Smorn Crossen, James Crossen, Richard Jeanne Crossen, Donald Sandra Crossen and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his father, James Honisko and father and mother in-law, Thomas and Alice Crossen. Friends and family may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 2-8 pm where funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:15 am followed by Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 10:00 am.
