Richard C. Dick Hesselbart, of Graytown, Ohio, died Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 76. He was born in Genoa, Ohio on July 4, 1943 the son of Warren C. and Florence F. (Brinkman) Hesselbart. He graduated from Genoa High School in 1962 and had attended Florida State and Kent State Universities. Dick was a truck driver for many years, retiring in 2002. During his career he had driven for Mandell, H.W. Bower and K.O.T.-Double K trucking companies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and traveling and his membership in the Filthy Five club. Dick is survived by his children, Richard C. (Michelle) Hesselbart, Jr., Jason J. (Megan) Hesselbart, Amy Fought, grandchildren, Brandon, Bryce, Dalton, Samantha, Rylie, Jesse, Allison, Mason, Lance, Hayden and Chase, sister, Ruth Drossel and brother, Roger F. Hesselbart. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Roberta Hesselbart and son-in-law, Nathan Nate Fought. Visitation for Dick will be held from 4-8 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio 43430. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 7, 2020 in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, Ohio. The family suggests memorials for Dick be directed to the Boy Scout Troop of your choice, Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 3425 Executive Parkway #206, Toledo, Ohio 43606, or the donors choice.
