Richard Stagger Greene

Richard Stagger Greene (Dick), age 92, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born on January 13, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Gertrude (Stagger) Greene. Dick graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Toledo and would go on to build the Dublin Company and own and operate the Dublin Steel Company. He was a member of the Toledo Ski Club, the Maumee Elks and enjoyed flying as a licensed pilot, traveling, skiing, fishing and playing Bridge. He was a skilled tennis player and golfer. Richard is survived by his daughter, Peggy Iten; son, Richard (Natalie) Greene; grandchildren, Mary Fenner, Daniel Iten, Ryan Greene, Matthew Greene and Connor Greene; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, parents, son-in-law, Don Iten, brother, William and sister Janet. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg, Ohio. Interment will be private.
