Richard Ferguson, Jr.

Richard (Rick) Ferguson Jr. of Maumee, Ohio passed away on July 1, 2019. Rick was born in 1956 in Toledo and lived his entire life in Northwest Ohio.  He enjoyed a life-long passion for muscle cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, IndyCar, NHRA, NASCAR, and trucks. His love of trucks inspired him to spend a number of years driving for Carolina & FedEx. This eventually led to him becoming a trucking owner-operator in his own right. He is survived by his children, Richard III, Joshua and Heather; siblings, Susan Sumbler, Steve (Julie) Ferguson and Michael (Doreen) Ferguson; step-father, Robert (Bob) Zgorecki;  several grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.  He was preceded in death by parents Richard Ferguson Sr. and Mary Zgorecki; and grandparents, Robert and Nellie Bachar. His family misses him greatly and remembers him lovingly.  Few, if any, had such an infectious laugh. Rick will live on in our hearts and memories.
