Richard Dick H. Dreyer, 84, formerly of Genoa, died Monday, November 26, 2018, at the Grand Rapids Care Center in Wood County, where he had been a resident since 1998. Dick graduated in 1953 from Genoa High School and worked as an inspector of sheet metal at the former Devilbiss in Toledo. He had attended St. Johns United Church of Christ in Genoa and was a past charter member of the Genoa Jaycees and a Scout Master for Boy Scouts Troop #310. Dick is survived by his son, Michael (Christina) K. Dreyer of Graytown, daughters, Debbie (Robert) R. Thomas of Millbury and Denise H. Dreyer of Genoa; granddaughter, Mindi (Alan) Fisher of Rocky Ridge and grandson, Tyler W. Dreyer of Bowling Green; great grandchildren, Dillon and Destine Ducat-Norwalk, Michelle Norwalk and Alan Fisher, Jr.; and his brother, Russell (Peggy) Dreyer of Elmore. His parents, John and Emma (Schaerer) Dreyer, and sister, Joanne Smith, preceded him in death. Visitation for Dick will be 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018. Interment will take place in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials for Dick may be given to the Luther Home of Mercy, P.O. Box 187, Williston, OH 43468; Cherry Street Mission, 105 17th St., Toledo, OH 43604; or the donors choice.
