Richard "Dick" Lee Harcourt, Jr

Richard “Dick” Lee Harcourt, Jr., age 70, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Toledo Hospital. The son of Richard, Sr. and Irene, he was born January 24, 1951 in Toledo. He was a graduate of Rogers High School and later married Janet Sue Slusher on December 4, 1970. He worked for Nabisco as a Grain Mill operator. He was an avid admirer of cars and anything with a motor. He was known to never pass up a good deal. You could often find him having a meal at his favorite restaurant, Charlie’s or on a family vacation. Dick had a great sense of humor and was quite the jokester. He was a very kind, giving person and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be remembered most as a wonderful and loving family man. From hanging with his sisters to spending time with the grandchildren or most importantly spending time with his beloved wife, “Sue”. He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Sonya (Ryan) Riches, Tonya (Todd) Tressler, Tammy (Ryan) Gilsdorf; grandchildren, Dylan Dauer, Jordan Gilsdorf, T.J. Tressler, Mason Gilsdorf; step grandchildren, Courtney Riches and Cole Riches; siblings, Linda Waite, Sandra Harcourt, April Oglesbee, Billy Harcourt and many nieces & nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St Maumee where a service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
