Richard G. Bragg, 70, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton. He was born on December 11, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Wallie and Nina (Nutter) Bragg.
Richard worked as a brick mason and carpenter at Masonry Construction in Port Clinton until his retirement. Over the years, he was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and willingness to lend a hand on and off the job.
He enjoyed spending time with family, including memorable trips to the islands and camping on family property. A passionate motorcyclist and skilled mechanic, he found joy in both the ride and the work. He also loved attending movies and festivals, especially around Cleveland, where he made many lasting memories with those close to him.
He is survived by his brothers: Robert Bragg and Michael E. Bragg; nephews, Denvin Bragg, Jr., Wally L. Bragg, Jr., Kevin Bragg, and Adam Bragg and several extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallie and Nina Bragg, and brothers, Denvin J. Bragg, Sr., Wally L. Bragg, Sr.,
Per Richard’s request, his wishes were to be cremated, so there will be no visitation or services at this time.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, Ohio.
