Richard E. Betcher, Jr.

Richard E. (Kickstart) Betcher, Jr., 73, of Walbridge, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Richard was born on October 31, 1943 to Kathleen (Knecht) and Richard E. Betcher, Sr. in Toledo, Ohio. He was a graduate of Lake High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a Maintenance Engineer for Wonder Bread and Honeywell. Left to cherish his memory are his special friend and significant other, Betty A. Walker; his children, Allen Betcher and Kristen Plewa; six grandchildren; brother, James (Sue) Betcher; and sister, Susan (Dan) Snook along with many nieces and nephews.
