Rhea J Shirkey

Rhea Shirkey, age 82, of Holland passed away on Monday October 31, 2011 at the Spring Meadows Extended Care Facility. Rhea was born in Toledo on January 26, 1929 to Edward & Ameila (Reeck) Kowalka. Rhea worked for many years for the Lucas Co. Courthouse and Sundt Corp. as a Key Punch Operator. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters, Lorri Brohman; Jennifer (Brandon) Mcinnis; great grandchildren, Dylan; Madison; Erica and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Carmody; brothers, Butch; Warren and Melvin. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) Saturday November 5, 2011 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm.
