Reta M. Usiondek

Reta M. Usiondek, 89, of Port Clinton, OH died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born on May 21, 1926 in Quebec, Canada to Joseph and Annie (Edwards) Thompson. She worked as a homemaker and was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Reta also collected thousands of smiley face items. She especially loved her family and was proud to be a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. Reta is survived by her children: Gary (Sherrilyn) Speck and Cindy (Jim) Mozina, grandchildren: Matthew Speck, Eric (Traci) Mozina, Bryan Mozina, and Chris Mozina, 3 great grandchildren: Noah Mozina, Andrew Mozina, and Abigail Mozina, and brother: Joseph Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Hartley Speck and second husband: Victor Usiondek. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions for Reta may be given to the Lupus Foundation or the Ottawa County Humane Society. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
