Rena Mae Gelacek

Rena Mae Gelacek, 92, of Genoa, Ohio died, Friday, November 20, 2020. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 31, 1927. The daughter of Samuel Brown and Cora Louella Zattau Ladd. She married Paul J. Gelacek in Toledo, Ohio on March 24, 1945. Paul preceded her in death on September 6, 2010. Rena is survived by her children, Paula (Neil) Cowling, Dan G. (Ae Sun) Gelacek and Lori (Joey Franke) Litton, grandchildren, Don Mathis, Laura (John) Bure, Steve (Debbie) Cowling, Joy (Mark) Andrews, Cari (Jacob) Dudley, Dan (Amber) Litton, Jay (Heather) Pepper, Jennifer Pepper; great-grandchildren, Joey & Jake Mathis, Christie & Cassie Bure, Katie Pugh, Rebecca Giannetti, Delaney & Patrick Dudley, Marshall Litton, Nora and Mikayla. She is also survived by her sister, Janice (Barrett) Henley. Rena was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul and brothers, Samuel Brown Ladd and William Frederick Ladd. The family will celebrate Rena's life with a private service. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
