Reid J. Sample

Reid J. Sample, age 14, of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2008. He was an eighth grader at Arbor Hills Junior High School. Reid loved skateboarding with his friends, playing video games, throwing a ball to his dog, Jackie, and being on the computer. He also enjoyed his music and was currently taking an art class at the Toledo Art Museum. Reid and his friends enjoyed going to the Friday Night Football Games. Reid is survived by his mother, Erin Sample and step-dad, Tony LaScola; brother, Max; sisters, Kathryn and Olivia; maternal grandparents, Bob and Sue Sample and paternal grandparents, Chuck and Pat Jones; great grandmother, Olive Hull; aunts and uncles, Tammy Hakeos, Kara Houser, Mike Jones and Robert Sample and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Jones. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd on Thursday from 2 to 9 pm.
