Regina "Reg" L. Peters

Regina L. Peters, 72, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, OH. She was born on February 20, 1953, in Port Clinton, OH, to Walden L. and Erma L. (Lieske) Peters.

Affectionately known as “Reg,” she graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1971 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. She devoted her career to teaching as an elementary art teacher with Danbury Schools, where she inspired countless young students through her creativity and love of art.

Reg’s many hobbies reflected her artistic and hands-on spirit. She enjoyed painting, woodworking, gardening, yard work, and caring for her beloved dog, Lolly. Family was especially important to her, and she treasured time spent with her three brothers, her seven nieces and nephews, and her many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was a proud County Fair enthusiast, lifelong 4-H member, and active participant in local garden and art clubs.

Reg is survived by her brothers, Lowell (Judy) Peters, Douglas Peters, and Bruce (Debbie) Peters; aunts, Beverly Peters and Delite Fahl; nieces and nephews, Bryan Peters, Kevin (Carrie) Peters, Stacy (Jeff) Feldman, Kristy (Brian) Bramell, Doug (Rebecca) Peters, Stephanie (Anthony) Pinto, and Brittnee (Eddie) Quintanar; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Kathy Peters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH. A funeral service, led by her brother Lowell, will begin at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery.
