Rebecca Jane Neubacher

Rebecca J. Neubacher, 74 of Marblehead, Ohio, and formerly of Columbus Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, July 31, 2026. Becky was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, September 21, 1951, to Edward and Dorothy (Redshaw) Neubacher. Becky was a reading specialist with Columbus Public Schools for over 30 years. She enjoyed her retirement years with her husband at their homes in Marblehead, Ohio and Texas. Together, Becky and Rick shard a love of boating, hiking, fossil collecting, and their golden retrievers.

Becky is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rick; sister, Judy Hoover; niece, Chris Hoover; and nephews, Phil Hoover and Scott Hoover. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Nuebacher.

Private services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Gerner Wolf Walker Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
