Rebecca Hurley

Rebecca (Becky) Ruth Hurley passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 19th, 2025 after a long battle with scleroderma. Becky was born in Dover, Delaware to William and Marion (Anderson) Hayes.

She graduated from Dover High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing Toledo, Ohio. Becoming a nurse fulfilled a lifetime goal. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Mercy and Toledo Hospitals for over 30 years.

Becky is survived by husband Jerry of 57 years, her children Mary (Gregory), Karin (Thomas), Pamela (Jack) and granddaughter Jessica (Zachary). Additional grandchildren Melissa (Jeremy), Nicole, Casandra, Katelyn (Harley), Patrick, Nikki, Ciara, Joni (Gage) David and Amanda and several great grandchildren; dog Charlotte; sister Patricia Kobza of Dover, Delaware and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter Jamie and her sister Barbara Hughes of Universal City, Texas and many beloved dogs, especially Max.

A funeral mass will be held on March, 31st at 11am at Saint Jerome Catholic Church at 300 Warner Street in Walbridge, Ohio, followed by a luncheon.
