Rebecca Jean Elliott

Rebecca “Becky” Jean Elliott, 73 of Swanton, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 30, 1950 to Herbert and Marguerite (McCauley) Ball in Flemington, West Virginia and grew up in Toledo, Ohio.

Becky lit up any room she walked into, a truly irreplaceable and special woman. She made wonderful unique bonds with all members of her family, something special to share with each of them. She loved to spend time playing bingo, cooking, fishing, and thrift shopping with her daughter. Her profound love for those close and her warmness will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Becky is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Elliott; children Darrel “Boo” (Glenda) Billings, Lisa (Ace) Stone, Kent (Shelley) Elliott, and Tim (Jill) Elliott; adopted son Jeremy “Cricket” (Melina) Ball; 16 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Clarence Ball Sr. and both parents.

Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2-8 PM at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg). A funeral ceremony for Becky will take place Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Donations in Becky’s memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio (30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg).
