Rebecca G. Wolfe Boesel, 63, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the University of Toledo Medical College, Toledo, Ohio. She was born January 27, 1949, in Port Clinton to Ralph L. and Evelyn M. Schmunk Cook. Rebecca was a 1967 graduate from Salem Oak Harbor High School and had worked at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Gem Beach Marina, Stadtmiller Century 21 Realty, and retired in 2009 from Ottawa County Riverview Healthcare Campus, where she was an administrative secretary and medical records technician. Rebecca was a member of Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, the Ottawa County Riverview Nursing Home Auxiliary, and the Erie Township Auxiliary. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Jon S. Boesel of Port Clinton, son, Marc D. Wolfe of Port Clinton, stepdaughter, Rachel Boesel-Aslaksen Darryl Kirchner of Avon Lake, Ohio; brother, Michael L. Diane Cook of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Cari L. Crawford and Michael L. Cook, Jr. both of Columbus, Joyce Cook of Springboro, and Sheri Scott Davis of Evans, GA. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Keegan Crawford, Carson, Cassidy and Conner Cook, and Scott Davis, Jr., Seth and Sierra Davis; father-in-law, Laddie Browand of Florida, brother-in-law, Randy Boesel of Youngstown, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and James Shuart of Inverness, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Craig C. Cook, nephew, Robert Cook, and mother-in-law, Julie Browand. At Rebeccas request, there will be no visitation and a graveside service will be private. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Oak Harbor has assisted with arrangements.
