Reba Donbrosky

August 27, 1942 — September 9, 2025

Reba J. Donbrosky was born on August 27, 1942, in Hodges, Alabama, to Arthur G. Scott and Velma Oneal (Rollins) Scott. She passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 83.

Reba was a selfless and generous soul whose love and kindness touched everyone she met. She lived her life devoted to caring for others, never expecting anything in return. Her beauty radiated from the inside out, and she had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—crafting, knitting, baking, tending to her vibrant flower beds, and watching “her stories.” She had a special place in her heart for animals and lovingly cared for every fur baby that came her way. But above all, Reba’s greatest passion was her family. She was the unwavering supporter of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.

Her traditions became cherished memories: passing out extra-special Christmas ornaments on Thanksgiving, giving thoughtful cards with her signature $2.00 tucked inside, preparing delicious meals and treats, and offering sound advice with a listening ear. She reminded her loved ones often that she “loved them to the moon and back.” Sleepovers at Grandma’s were filled with fun, treats, and the comforting promise that “whatever happens at Grandma’s stays at Grandma’s.”

Reba had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring a smile when it was needed most. She never met a stranger—her warmth and kindness made everyone feel instantly at home. She saved every card and letter she received, treasuring the love shared with her throughout her life. Her legacy of compassion and care will live on through the many lives she touched.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Velma; her beloved husband, Ronald; and her daughter, Joyce. She leaves behind her devoted partner of 46 years, Bill Davis; her dear friend and cousin, Gloria Lemay; and her loving children: Cynthia (Mike) Siedler, Greg (Kim) King, Jennifer (Chad) Buckenmeyer, and Daniel (Michelle) Davis. Her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy, include Keri (Romily) Bridges, Kyle (Carrie) Mohrbach, Aaron (Kayla) Siedler, Jonathon (Karen) King, Stephanie (Bryan) Miller, Mark (Shelley) Culbreath, Justin (Dana) Culbreath, Christopher Culbreath, Adrienne and Allison Buckenmeyer (Ayden Drew), Jacob and Isabella Davis, Caitlynne (Chris) Simpson, Karleigh (Mark) Harbin, and Keleigh Patterson. She was also blessed with 26 great-grandchildren, each one a testament to the love and legacy she leaves behind and numerous extended family members including nieces and nephews.
