Raymond G. Woodling, age 85 of Maumee, OH passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. Ray was born in Waterville, OH on August 16, 1928 to Lester and Martha Whitmore Woodling. He was an Army Veteran and bravely served his country during WWII. Ray was employed as a Cost Accountant at Peters Stamping in Perrysburg, OH until his retirement. His memberships included St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Maumee; VFW #11115, Maumee and the Lucas County Burial Corps. Ray enjoyed watching Ohio State and University of Toledo sports, working on cars, but most importantly, he loved spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Carol L. Woodling; son, Jeffery Woodling; daughter, Cynthia Scott Tracy; grandchildren, Scott Woodling, Kristin Jason Kahl, Lisa Chris Henry, Kari David Kolb, Craig Woodling, Jyl Chris McCarthy, Justin Michelle Tracy and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Kepling. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 3-8 pm. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
