Ray met the love of his life, Nancy Jones, in San Diego. They spent nine years married before Nancy died from Alzheimer's. Ray spent 12 years caring for Nancy while she fought her battle. They were so in love and had some much in common. Her death was extremely hard on him. Ray is survived by his brother, Bob Mulligan, a retired Weymouth fireman and Navy Veteran. Ray is predeceased by his sister, Karen White; his mother, Gladys White; and his father, Ray White Sr. A number of years ago Ray befriended Kraig Dorner, a highly decorated retired Navy SEAL. They were inseparable - hunting, boxing, working out, surfing, and riding motorcycles. Kraig cared for Ray through his transition from a normal life to a life of Alzheimer's. Kraig was by Ray's side and dedicated himself to caring for Ray and handling his affairs. A celebration of life is being planned for a future.
