Raymond D. Stewart, Jr., age 82 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in Flower Hospital. Ray was born July 18, 1928 in Toledo to Raymond and Edna Stewart, Sr. A graduate of Scott High School, he attended the University of Toledo and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Ray was a member of Barton Smith Lodge F & AM, Scottish Rite, the Shrine, and the American Legion. He was an avid bowler for 60 years and served as secretary and treasurer of many leagues. Preceded in death by his first wife, Georgia Worest and brother, Richard Stewart, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, John Stewart, Debbie Turner-Veler, Bryan Pam Wright, Cynthia Robert Ford, Heidi Donald Breier, and Glen Anna Stewart; twenty-two grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brothers, William Stewart and Harold Stewart and sister, Doris Lynch. Friends and family may visit on Friday from 2 to 9 pm with Masonic Services at 7 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
