Raymond Schultz

Raymond A. Schultz, 88, of Marblehead, OH died Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. He was born on July 31, 1920 in Port Clinton, OH to Sinnia F. and Victoria L. Pete Schultz. On October 28, 1975 in Bardstown, KY he married Gertrude Fleming and she preceded him in death on November 17, 2003. Raymond worked as a farmer, in maintenance for Esmond Dairy for 26 years, and as a security guard for Whirlpool. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. He really enjoyed farming and his livestock, especially his horses. Raymond is survived by his special friends: Joe and Cindy Turinsky of Marblehead; and cousins: Patricia Reeves and Margaret Connon both of Waterford, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his two cats: Tiger & Calico. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton with Reverend James Lehman officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services from 9 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sackett Cemetery, Lakeside-Marblehead.
