Raymond Lee Reep, 95, formerly of Melbourne, FL, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky, OH. He was born on October 26, 1916 in Yates Center, Kansas to Sidney A. and Clara Zinn Reep. Raymond served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Frances M. Meszaros, and she preceded him in death. Raymond worked for Ford Motor Company for 15 years, retiring in 1981. Raymond is survived by his daughter: Mary Drummond of San Diego, CA, son: Dan Reep of Marblehead, OH, sisters: Mr. & Mrs. Charles Black of Kansas City, MO, Mr. & Mrs. Marvin Schmidt and Mr. & Mrs. Max Easum both of Pico Rivera, CA, and sister-in-law: Naomi Reep of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Visitation will be on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton with military graveside rites conducted. Memorial contributions in memory of Raymond may be given Plymouth United Methodist Church, 39 Sandusky St., Plymouth, OH 44865.
