Raymond Klumm

Raymond Pete Klumm, age 71, passed away on April 20, 2009. He was born in Maumee to Edward and Dorothy LeFevre Klumm on May 31, 1937. Pete was an avid golfer, long time member and past president at Valleywood Golf Course. He enjoyed traveling and competing in Pro Ams in Bermuda and Santa Domingo, the Caribbean and Florida. He was the Presidents Cup Champion at Valleywood in 1995. Pete also enjoyed yardwork, winters in Florida and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He worked at Libbey Owens Ford as a Millright, retiring in 1991. Pete was a lifetime member of the Maumee Elks. A loving husband, father and grandfather that will be sadly missed by family as he leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife and best friend, Nancy; children, David Sandra Klumm, Pamela Ted Grachek, Elizabeth Bennion and Jacqueline John Huber; grandchildren, Marissa and Samantha; sisters, Karen Delaney, Joan Walter Krysiak; brother, Thomas Joanne Klumm; and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Pete was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Betty Jane, Marilyn and Carol. Family and friends may visit Thursday 2-9 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 am.
