Raymond John Gerrard

Raymond J. Gerrard, 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and formerly of Rossford, Ohio, passed away Monday June 15, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ray was born March 3, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio to Wayne and Elizabeth (Stolar) Gerrard. In 1958, Ray graduated from Olney High School and enlisted in the United States Navy where he faithfully served four years. He was employed with C & O, Chessie System, and CSX as a clerk for over 30 years. In his early years, Ray was an avid bowler, GOLFER, and enjoyed playing softball. During his years in Las Vegas, Ray enjoyed spending time at his favorite casinos. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ray is survived by his children, John (Tina) Wheeler, Sherry (Bill) Michales and Shelly Mazur; grandchildren, Harley (Becca) Jett, Hunter (Rachel) Jett, Josh Wheeler, Caitlin (Tanner) Pollock, Madison (Shane) O'Connor, Lohgan Mazur, Liam Mazur, and Lawson Mazur; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Harper, Jameson, Elias, Hudson, Ezra, and one baby girl on the way; and his beloved dog, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Paula; and sister, Helaine Gerrard.

The family will receive friends at the Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the funeral home, where family will greet friends after 11:00 am. Interment: Toledo Memorial Park.
