Raymond K. Foreman, 73, of Genoa, passed away in his home Tuesday, March 29, 2011. He was born January 9, 1938, in Athens, Ohio, to Raymond and Mildred Faye Foreman. On January 9, 1960, in Monroe, Michigan, he married Mary A. Frobase, who survives him. Ray was a forklift driver for Jeep/Chrysler for 30 years. He was a lover of many sports, having played golf in tournaments for Jeep in his early 40s, played basketball and baseball into his 40s and coached league football for 16-18 years. Ray had attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving Ray are his wife, Mary, son, Russell Foreman, both of Genoa, his daughter, Renee Robedeau of Allen, Texas; his grandchildren, April and Ryan, great grandchild, Connor, and sister, Elouise Darnell of Pomeroy, Ohio. His parents and brothers, Robert, Paul and Butch Foreman, preceded him in death. Services for Ray were private. The family has suggested memorials to the donors choice.
