Raymond P. Engel

Raymond P. Engel, 75, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 25, 1938 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Victor and Clara Eikenberg Engel. Ray worked as a maintenance man at G & B Electric. He was veteran of the U. S. Army serving from 1961 to 1967. On August 10, 1957, in Cleveland, OH, he married Mary Ann Nagy and she survives. Ray will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Mary Ann Engel of Port Clinton, OH; Nieces & Nephews: Several loving; Brother: Louis Lois Engel of Brookpark, OH and Sister: Clara Mangan of Texas. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Albert, Victor & Donald Engel and sister: Donna Alexander. Visitation will be 1-3pm, Friday, September 13, 2013 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service conducted at 3:00pm. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Raymond may be given to the Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Department.
