Raymond Bucher, Sr.

Raymond Peewee Bucher, Sr., 78, of Elmore, died early Saturday morning, June 4, 2011, at the Ottawa County Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Peewee was born September 19, 1932, in Longton, Kansas, to Robin Roy Glen and Emma Foote Bucher, Sr.. On September 19, 1958, in Curtice, Ohio, he married Esther Lopez, and she preceded him in death September 25, 2006. Peewee was a farmer and also worked for Turnow Ventures in Lindsey, Ohio where he retired in 1994. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and also served in the Air National Guard from 1956-1958. Peewee was a very generous person, and was known for always sharing his produce with others. He would always be willing to help other individuals out. Peewee is survived by his children, son, Erwin Mary Jane Bucher of McComb, OH, daughter, Judy A. Roy, Sr. Cortez of Elmore, OH., daughter, Mary Juvencio Castillo of San Benito, TX., son, Raymond Evelia Bucher, Jr. of Elsa, TX., son, Leroy Nora Bucher of San Benito, TX., son, Albert Jill Bucher of Petersburg, MI., son, Michael G. Jodi Bucher of Petersebrug, MI., 24 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren brother, Howard Bucher of Port Clinton, OH., and sisters, Nadine Reinhart of Martin, OH., Betty Seiple of Walbridge, OH., Donna Jess of Graytown, OH., Deloris Rarig of Monroe, OH., Peggy Woodlee of McMinnville, TN., and Sharon Gosch of Cincinnati, OH. Peewee was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Esther, grandson, Juan Garza, Jr., brothers, Ted, Larry, Harry, Charles, Robin, Jr., Robert, and sisters, Norma, Kitty, and Linda Per Raymonds request there will be no services.
